Decide what may guide the agent
Clarify the Vision, goals, facts and constraints. Approve the material that should be current before you expose it through AI Access.

Connect with deliberate access
Use supported API or MCP connections. Limit access to the permitted Vision context rather than giving every tool an unrestricted copy of your workspace.

Create, then check against the Vision
Ask the agent to draft Goals, Documents, Brand Kits, Products or Boards in the conversation. Have it check its plan and results against your current direction. It should bring conflicts back to you instead of silently changing the goal.

In supported clients, cards keep proposals and approval decisions in the conversation. See the exact changes before confirming; other clients open the same decision in VisionBoard. A chat message alone never approves the work.
A few useful answers.
Can I connect an MCP-compatible agent?
VisionBoard exposes AI Access through API and MCP. Use a supported client and its connection setup, then grant the intended access. Tool availability and behavior depend on the external client; not every AI app supports the same features.
Does the agent see all my drafts?
No. Reading approved direction is permissioned and Vision-scoped. Private or unapproved material must not become readable simply because it exists in the Library.
Can an agent keep working toward an approved Goal?
Supported Goal work keeps its schedule, limits and review checkpoints in VisionBoard after a person activates it. The connected agent still needs an available execution environment: a local agent needs its host running. People decide whether the Goal is done. VisionBoard does not provide always-on agent hosting.
Can I create the content in a conversation?
Yes. Vela helps you create and refine Goals, Notes, Documents, Brand Kits, Products and Boards as editable drafts. For images, develop the idea with Vela and generate it in Vision Creator. Authorized AI agents can create Library elements and Boards through supported MCP or plugin connections, including adding images generated with their own tools. You can also work manually.
How do I stay in control of AI-created content?
Creating a draft is not approving it. In supported AI clients, cards let you inspect proposals and confirm an exact approval in the conversation. Other clients open that same decision in VisionBoard. You can refine the work first or leave it unapproved. Only your explicit approval makes it part of the current direction; an ordinary chat reply does not.
Will my connected AI keep checking the Vision?
Use VisionBoard as a continuing reference: ask your agent to read the current direction, check plans and results against it, and return when goals, limits or decisions conflict. Supported Goal work checks the approved direction at its checkpoints. Connecting alone does not monitor every action in another tool; the agent must use VisionBoard and have permission to access it.
