Vision board examples
Examples made with VisionBoard templates, and what makes them work. The pictures were created for these examples. A new board starts with empty frames for your own.
In short
- Each board has one clear focus and nothing else.
- Specific pictures beat ideas: a sketchbook says more than “creativity”.
- A short line of words and room to breathe keep a board readable.
The boards
One theme, two layouts
Both boards use the same pictures about making things by hand. On the left, Hero Focus puts one picture first and adds an intention. On the right, Collage Classic arranges the same pictures like prints in a square. The pictures are the same; the layout changes the feel.

What works
What the examples do well
One clear focus
The theme is making. Nothing on the board is there for another reason.
Pictures you can recognise
A sketchbook, clay cups, a forest path. Each shows something specific rather than an idea.
A short line of words
The Hero Focus board says: two focused making sessions every week, before anything new. It is an action with a rhythm.
Room to breathe
Neither board is full. The space around the pictures keeps them readable.
A layout that fits the message
One lead picture for one main goal; equal prints for a collection.
Your turn
Try a pattern for your own board
If one goal leads, start from the Hero Focus pattern. If several things matter about equally, use Clean Grid. For a few priorities, Minimal Focus. For areas of your life, Life Chapters. Each template page shows the empty layout and how to fill it.
Useful questions.
Are these real people’s boards?
No. They are examples made for this site, and the pictures were created for them. They are not included in the templates.
Can I use the same layout?
Yes. Choose Hero Focus or Collage Classic and add your own pictures and words. Every part is editable.
How do I get ideas for what to put on my board?
Start from the areas that matter most this season. Our guide to ideas by area of life lists what to picture in each.
